philosophy

My first step in therapy with all clients is to create a healing space for my clients.  This means being attuned  to and learning each client's unique strengths. When women are given the support to embrace their unique gifts, they thrive.

The mind/body connection is vital in my work with a focus on hormones, physical health, sexual health and the impact on your mental health.

My therapeutic work is deeply rooted in Feminist Theory. Exploring social and environmental dynamics that  hold us back from fulfilling our femininity and truly leaning into our desires, needs, and strengths is crucial in healing.

out of the office

I am a mom of three, with a set of twin boys in the mix, so any given day you can find me picking up hot wheel cars or driving my daughter to dance. I am not a super formal therapist so please don't be alarmed if a stray curse word pops out in session. To my own detriment, I jump at the chance in any social setting to talk about birth and women's health care.  In my free time, find me roaming the aisles of a thrift store or rescuing plants from the clearance section at Lowe's. I have been married to my husband for 12 years and we love (attempting) to explore the mountains with the kiddos and finding any excuse to travel together. Art museums, strong coffee, gardening, dance, live music and a good novel are a few things that bring me immense joy.
